“A partner, not a supplier”
Matthew has been involved with Presco Environmental Services since it was purchased in 2006. He is the self-confessed Grandpa of the business having established and worked in every role in it at some point. Currently he calls himself the Senior Industrial Hygiene and Clean Air advisor, and puts his energies into supporting clients to meet their food safety compliance requirements.
With over a decade of experience, 24 training certificates, a hands-on/can-do approach and his cheery smile, Matthew would like to think that his clients get the best industrial cleaning service on the planet.
Occasionally Matthew is also let loose on spreading the company’s sustainability vision to the world at large and has taken a liking to posting articles on LinkedIn.
At work, Matthew is a disciple of continuous improvement, has a ‘glass half full’ view of the economy, diligently feeds his coffee addiction and is a dedicated researcher of inspirational (and humorous) quotes.
At home, when he is not recovering from the perils of parenthood or running a taxi service for his three children, Matthew enjoys reading (anything from Dickens through to Calvin and Hobbs,) Music, trying new foods and back yard sports (highly competitive stuff!) If he’s not home then you can probably find him with the family around a camp fire somewhere along Taranaki’s beautiful and rugged coast line.
Kim is our very own pommie, but after living in New Zealand for the past 11 years, she is pleased to have finally got her NZ citizenship and have been received into the kiwi family.
With a meticulous eye for detail, a straight-up attitude, a very approachable manner and a willingness to do whatever is needed to please her customers (including cleaning at 2am in the mornings!) Kim is the perfect team member to head up our commercial cleaning team. Kim ensures our commercial cleaning customers always receive the highest standards of cleaning and service!
Outside of work, Kim enjoys the outdoor life New Zealand has to offer. Whether it is riding Patches (her standard bred racehorse) or walking her Labrador, Cadbury, Kim is in her element.
Heidi sits smack bang between Sales and Operations and keeps the cogs of both turning. If you are one of the team or a customer and after some paperwork or an answer to any question, Heidi’s your person. After being with Presco Environmental Services since its very early beginnings, Heidi knows all the in and outs of sustainable cleaning, working with teams, etc.
Heidi’s a killer for analysing so perfect with all the accounts, proposals, workflow calendars and job sheets she has to manage on a daily basis but being asked to write innovative dribble like this gives her aneurysms!
In her spare time, Heidi loves helping others and is involved in secondary student mentoring. When not helping others, she loves getting outside in the clean, green air and packs her pedals and running shoes before her stilettos.
Sharon joined Presco in March 2014. As Finance Manager she is responsible for managing the finances and supporting the CEO in his role.

A coffee is a never too far away from Sharon when she is budgeting and planning the finances for the company.
Outside of work, Sharon’s time is spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, dogs, cat and managing their lifestyle block which has way too many hills for her liking.

Daniel started with Presco back in 2010. After 5 and a half years keeping busy as an industrial technician, Daniel is now the industrial technician team leader which involves organising the teams day to day jobs, scoping work and… the best part, still getting on the tools everyday.
Daniel thrives on a challenge and is driven by being good at whatever he tries. All this means, get him in a competitive situation and you’ve got one damn good competitor!
Outside of work, Daniel spends as much time as he can with his 2 year old daughter and enjoys social sport.
Daniel has had lots of interesting experiences in his 32 years. After living in Patea whilst a teenager, he left to spend eight years in the RNZN as an Electronic Warfare specialist including a 7 month deployment in the gulf of Oman/ Persian gulf in 2004!
Jack of All Trades, Master of Some
Chris is the general factotum for Presco Hire (another of Presco’s companies) with the formal title of Administration Assistant.
He is a Jack of All Trades, and master of some. His role includes Administration, Accounts Receivable, QHSE (for all Presco’s divisions), IT, Customer Service and anything else that no one has time for. He thoroughly enjoys the challenge of this diverse role even if it does involve some tongue-poking concentration from this hard-working ginger-haired person.
He is currently studying a diploma in Business Studies (Accountancy) with a Massey Scholarship as he looks to pursue a career in accounting and finance. At home, when he is not staring at his computer screen under the pretense of doing study, he is either planning to ride his road bike or hike up Mount Taranaki. He loves to travel to see different places, and his dream is to have a pilot’s license someday – which may explain why his head is constantly in the air?
Grants job as General Manager is to oversee the Presco Environmental Services division which consists of a dynamic team of 25 staff focusing on Creating More Sustainable Environments for its many valued customers.
With an extensive back ground in the Dairy Industry that also involved implementing Lean concepts, he has a passion for health & safety and staff engagement.
Outside of work, Grant enjoys spending his free time either on the water fishing or coaching the local colts rugby team.
